Buckles Tie Down Buckle for 1" 25mm Webbing Strap
We are using these for tie downs on the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two
and Starboard Whopper ASAP Paddle Board. They seem to be working great.
Two straps on each one. They are strong and worry free.
These are nicer than they look in the picture at Amazon.
This shows the stainless steel ratchets we are using.
They are nice and work good but are more work.
This is the new stainless steel flip buckle.
Quick and easy and strong.
Makes life easier😎 In these pictures we are using sail ties
but we have black webbing we will break out for this purpose.
These are way nicer (and pricier) than the plastic buckles.
When we sail during the day this is fine but for a passage or rougher weather, we like to put the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two and Starboard Whopper ASAP Paddle Board. on deck.

currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

However when we are out 15-20 nm and doing an over-nighter
or two or three it is nice to know your gear is firmly secured on deck😀
Some anchorages like La Cruz anchorage in Banderas Bay, Mexico are open and can get rough in the afternoon (or anytime really) so it is good on the gear to have the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two and Starboard Whopper ASAP Paddle Board secured nicely.
