20 Pack 1 Inch Side Release Plastic Buckles ( Black )

 The purpose I have for these is to go with the 1" black strapping we purchased.
We purchased this from Amazon.com.

The idea here is to make straps that will tie down the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two when we put it on the foredeck for doing night passages. There are four holes in the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two and instead of spending time finding lines and tying it down, we can just put the straps through the holes and sinch them up. The way the kayak lays on deck each hole is a different length from the hand rails where we tie it. This project will make that really quick and easy. We even purchased some mesh bags earlier and one will hold the straps.

 We also will be putting the Starboard Whopper ASAP SUP paddle board up on the foredeck for the night and multiple-day passages and these straps will do double duty holding it down also.

September 2018- We are currently in Chapala which is a town by Lake Chapala ,Mexico; we are pet/house sitting.

 These turned out to be too flimsy so we purchased some stainless steel ones.
