The shower is now done. I do need to point the flexible hose from the bulkhead to the shower head towards starboard so it does not rest against the shower mixer handle. That I will do this weekend. We did some spraying into the sink with the shower and it seems to work great. Tried a few different settings.
The idea behind this particular shower mixer is water savings (these mixers are getting hard to find) and it saves the temperature setting. You just push down on the handle to turn it on and up for off and the temperature setting stays the same. Like having a thumb on off switch.
Also I am re-plumbing the back of the shower mixer so the fresh water (cold) also goes to the new "Y" valve that is coming from Downwind Marine. It will then go to the Bosworth "Sea-lect" Y-Valve we got for the anchor locker. So in the anchor locker you can select fresh or salt water for wash down.

We re-plumbed the shower mixer to remove the wash down from the mixer and add it to the cold water pipe. We added a simple on\off valve so we could turn fresh water off in the chain locker in case there is a problem in the anchor locker going to the Bosworth "Sea-lect" Y-Valve.
We also turned the out fill flange so the hose was not hanging by the mixer handle.

The mixer base plate needs to be about 61/2 inches wide to cover the previous Freeport holes.

We got a mixer from SHURflo at less than half price as they have discontinued them.
