s\v Namahana coming out of Cuastecomate heading toward Tenacatita like us.
The seas behind the point were small. After we rounded the point they were 6' but long period and mostly smooth. They did start hitting us broadside as we changed course and headed into Tenacatita. This dumped what little wind we had out of the sail while rolling.
One reef to keep the sail from flogging itself.
Once anchored, I had fun in the water. Anchoring waypoints.

Tenacatita has changed and for the better.
There is now a jetty and you can dinghy land on the other side which is fairly protected. Smaller waves. I went in on the Starboard Whopper ASAP Paddle Board and landed on the beach no problem. At the old beach dinghy landing, they were paddle board surfing...goes to show you.
