Cockpit teak grate gets a coat of- Reteak Wondered - 2013

November 2013- s\v Elegant'sea is currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

We removed the teak grate to clean it and apply the Teak Wonder.

This time we scrubbed off most of the old Teak Wonder and applied it with a rag instead of a paint brush. This seems nicer. It did not splatter and we used way less of the Teak Wonder than using a brush. 

Looks better so far as you see more of the grain of the teak and the wood in general.

 

Looks good. We will see how well it holds up verses the brush. This dried fast and we applied two coats. 

  We decide that while cruising we can just clean and then re-apply with the rag right in the cockpit, without making a mess, well maybe if Debbie did it :) there would be no mess.
