Cockpit fans - Caframo "Ultimate" 2-Speed Fans - 2013
A long time ago we read that putting fans in the cockpit is a good idea. I went ho hum sounds OK but no big deal. We had a couple of extra DC fans so we finally installed them. Darn are these or any fans great in the cockpit!
They really make a difference! These fans can rotate so we can get fanned at the wheel or at the stern sitting or actually anywhere in the cockpit.

currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
We used the round 16\2 wire and a DC cigarette lighter plug to connect to our 30 amp plug in the cockpit. We had already made an adapter for that as you can see here. So if you've got a couple of extra fans or heck - go buy them!! they are worth it. Put them in the cockpit and snooze on.
They will come down with ease but we see no reason to take them down at this time. The rain does not get to them and they are great!
Note:
Because we use them so much we later hard wired them to a switch in the Nav Station. We leave them up year round.
