We installed our two new Peek-a-Boo blinds for the head. One was fine but the other was made a little off. So much so that we will be returning it after we return from vacation.
July 2010 - Currently at Marina Cortez Harbor Island, San Diego, CA
Debbie makes a pattern (she has more patience than me). Usually she makes the pattern out of brown painters paper from HD. This time we were out so she made some from a note pad.
I cut the blind to the template. I get the cut part on the bottom so you see the straight side when they are installed at the top.
I then take apart the Peek-a-Boo blinds and sand the rough edges with 220 or even 80 grit if need be and further fine fit the blinds to the port hole.
Notice the empty potato chip container, we used it for the parts container.
We alos remove the logos and wipe with lighter fluid or lacquer thinner. Then it is wash them and dry them. Now re-assemble them. Debbie installs them!
