We started our "Smart Plug" installation. Also we installed a USB charger where our cigarette lighter plug was underneath the old 30-amp shore power plug. Debbie did all the lazarette work and all the wire connections and the Smart Plug we got installed fine.

It took a little rasping for the hole to get a bit bigger. The Smart Plug fits pretty much right in the old 30 amp hole. This is also a good time for us to install this as we are on the hook and not using any shore power.
The companies’ videos were very helpful in the installation.
We wanted the Smart Plug as a safety item. It will shut off the electricity if the plug heats up and prevents a fire from starting. If it cools off it will start back up.
