We had a fun afternoon at the Puerto Beach Club - a new, exclusive benefit here at Marina Costa Baja. It was really nice. They gave us plush towels to use and the pool is an infinity pool looking over the beach and bay. The water is warm and there is a jacuzzi and it is also nice.

They give you complementary water also. The tables are set out in the sand in and amongst the palm trees - shady and nice. There is also a bunch of mattresses in the shade on the beach and tables to use, if you prefer. Everything is nice. We also met some fellow cruisers there we knew from the Marina. It is a short enough walk to our dock, but they even offered to shuttle us back. Definitely a good time. We had apple pie and ice cream.
On a recent walk, we met a fellow who is one of the marketing directors for Puerto Cortes, the entity that runs the neighboring condos and hotel and he said that IHG, an international resort and hotel conclomerant is buying Puerto Cortes, Costa Baja Resort and Marina Costa Baja. He said that after the first of the year it will be settled. They will offer room service to our boat etc. (We got room service in Barra de Navidad at the Grand Bay Resort while in that marine for a short stay during the pandemic...a fun service during a rough time.)
More to be revealed so until then, we'll just keep enjoying the use of the Puerto Beach Club!
