Galley sink drain thru hull joiner re-purchased, better - 2023

Yesterday Debbie and I were in Centro La Paz and stopped at Lopez Marine and picked up a stronger 1 1/4 inch joiner.

The one we had gotten at Marine Exchange in San Diego was thin. We also had checked other chandleries in San Diego but none had anything better. This one goes on before the through hull valve for our sink drain. It does this so it avoids the shift area - we are replacing the factory install which has been on for over 40 years.. We wanted a strong one so it did not break off with no valve to stop the water. It is below the water line. The new one is a bit longer.
