This rock has a hole in tt. It really is a point of land. It is on the other side of the bay from where we are anchored. A good wave comes in and the water spouts out the rock with a nice roar.
March 2019 - We are
currently anchored in Bahia de Navidad Lagoon, Mexico
We used these to go check out the Cuastecomate bay\anchorage.
We also used our good paddles. The other old black paddles came with the kayak
and we use when we go to the beach and leave the area; we can lock them up.
Blow-hole rock.
The swell turned SW so the beach on the other side of the anchorage was firing.
Good surf and a couple of surfers out. We paddled over and watched for a bit.
We noticed a few people on the beach with towels and a couple in the water.
Watched one get a good long ride..

Surf spot...the waves were good size although it does not show there.

Hmmm...how can we live there?
Coming back to s\v Elegant'sea after a nice kayak trip around the Cuastecomate anchorage. Still early morning so the beach is mostly empty.
The water had also cooled off quite a bit so this way if she got splashed,
she would be warm and dry!
Not a bad "selfie" 😋
What is missing from this photo?
(hint - we are in the water in it!!)
Debbie was "cold" so she wore her spring wetsuit. The water had also cooled off quite a bit so this way if she got splashed,
she would be warm and dry!

There was a tour boat with snorkelers
in the water, checking out the reef of this side of the anchorage.
