We are currently cruising our Islander Freeport 36 sailboat in Mexico. We have been extensively documenting our outfitting for this adventure. Also, what works and what is not of value.
Dinghy to Cabo Blanco Hotel & Marina for pool fun etc - 2019
Paddle boarding in Cuastecomate anchorage - 2019
I paddled over to s\v
Interlude with Tony and Peggy on board. Ok as we were talking after a while I lost my balance and fell in. But the water is warm and I was getting hot so it was just fun. This was in the Cuastecomate anchorage, Mexico.
Cuastecomate Anchorage, Mexico - Kayaking - 2019
This rock has a hole in tt. It really is a point of land. It is on the other side of the bay from where we are anchored. A good wave comes in and the water spouts out the rock with a nice roar.
Bottom cleaning in Cuastecomate anchorage - 2019
The water was not as clear as I had hoped. We found out why -
later that afternoon the red tide came in. Still, it was clear enough to clean
the bottom and clearer then a marina or lagoon😜

Cuastecomate, Jalisco, Mexico anchorage - 2019
Our first night in Cuastecomate anchorage. We left Bahia de Navidad Lagoon upping anchor and found a spot in Cuastecomates.
Propane refill from large to small bottle - 2019
Schwag at Bahia de Navidad, Mexico - 2019
"T" shirt back.
Bananas came recommended as a having a good breakfast,
which we were looking for. They did and it is right on the beach
upstairs in a hotel. I could not resist a little Bahia de Navidad schwag
as we have never before purchased any touristy thing here in the past visits.
Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe...unpickling - 2019
It is nice to have the Spectra Ventura Watermaker 200T Deluxe fire up
and work without a hitch!
Debbie takes good care of the unit and manages our water.
J-Series VacuFlush tank serviced...a "Poo Story" - 2019
This is our J-Series Vacuum Tank that needed servicing. It stopped holding a vacuum.
So how come this always happens at anchor? A week and a half at anchor and we need to service this tank! Anchored here in the Bahia de Navidad Lagoon!
Chamela Bay to Cuastecomates to Barra de Navidad lagoon - 2019
A good day of sailing however we could of used a bit more wind or the wind could have lasted longer. We got about four hours of good sailing out of seven hours of passage.
Two new Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablets purchased - 2019
My Samsung Tab 4 died. It was an older, refurbished tablet that I came to like. We shopped around and decided to go with Samsung again. The 8" tablet for us is a good size.
Amidships blue LED lights now for night sailing, update - 2019
These blue LED light strips on the solar panel above the dodger light
the fore deck nicely. However, the switching for them needs to be improved
upon. Originally we put these up for anchoring and sailing and now
we see the value during night sailing. The switch can be set to flash and dim but we probably won't ever use that on the dodger with these lights.

Nuevo Vallarta around Cabo Corrientes to Bahia Chamela (Town of Perula) - 2019
We had a nice sail out of Banderas Bay Mexico and saw a beautiful sunset.
