Building a Honda EU2000i generator extended fuel tank setup, parts purchased - 2018

August 2018- We are currently in Ajijic which is a town by Lake Chapala ,Mexico; we are pet/house sitting.

The parts are being brought down to us in Mexico by the Lake Chapala Mule Service, a Facebook group. We purchased these from Amazon.com.
 These parts will allow us to add the Honda 9.9 hp outboard 3 gal fuel tank that we have in the dinghy to the Honda EU2000i generator which will total the fuel to about 4 gal. The Honda EU2000i holds about 1 gal. This in turn will allow us to run the 12000 btu or the 5200 btu Mermaid Marine Air units all night or day. With the EasyStart(s) connected to the Mermaid Marine Air units the Honda EU2000i will run in echo mode. This is the plan. Just in case we need it! Say, anchoring late Spring - Summer in the Sea of Cortés (Gulf of California) or in one of the marinas here in Mexico with iffy electricity like .San Blas Marina aka Fonatur Marina.

If my ideas do not work then this fitting will make it all work, kind of a backup.

This is an example setup of what I am looking to accomplish. I also want to have the hose and parts available as back up in case anything happens to our Honda 9.9 hp outboard fuel line hose to the Honda 3 gal gas tank. Our gas tank looks a little different but you get the idea. Also by putting one together ourselves we save big time and get exactly what we want.
