Starboard Whopper ASAP SUP Paddleboard purchased!
I purchased the Starboard Whopper from Pacific Paddle Board in Bucerias Mexico.
The Whopper ASAP is the most popular for boats. It is a foam top and rails with a fiberglass bottom. So it will not ding up boats when along side or thrown around on deck.
I ordered it and will receive it after the first of the year (first week or so). It is going to be shipped to Mazatlán where we are.
December 2017 - Tied up in the El Cid Marina Mazatlán, Mexico
It's a good thing I called and ordered it as it was the last one they had in stock until April 2018. I paid a deposit for them to hold it so we could see how our plans for going South are shaping up.
I already purchased the bag and other goodies and even a hat.
"10’0” X 34” WHOPPER
A highly stable board popular with the entire family with good cruising glide and catching waves for riders up to 110 kg.
10’0” length maintains glide for cruising with dynamic turning abilities.
34” width provides stability good for all skill levels.
Starboard’s number one best seller.
Easy entry into smaller waves.
Available in Blue Carbon, Pine Tek, Starlite, Starshot and ASAP Technologies.
Bottom Shape: “Mono-concave to V with double concave to tail concave”
Heavy midsection V and double concave makes effortless rail-to-rail transitions down the line for generating speed, feeding into a tail concave for tight fast cutbacks.
We use inverted EVA deck pads to avoid waste, thus every second board will have a reverse color combination from what is featured."
