Ocean Kayak Leak test in Bahia de Navidad - 2015

 

We towed the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two  kayak into the  Grand Isla Navidad Resort Marina..

End of December 2015 - While anchored in Bahia de Navidad lagoon, Mexico

 We are getting some water inside the Ocean Kayak Malibu Two kayak and we wanted to leak test it. It also could be from condensation?

We went in during mid-morning, before the wind picked up.

Our friends on s/v Molly J - Jon and Lisa - let us

 "park" next to their boat.

We pulled up onto filled it about half way with fresh water from the dock. 

After an hour or so of trying to find a leak, we found none.

To empty it, we siphoned it out.

Even though it was a lot of work, we had to know!!

Note 2018:

  We did find the leaks a couple years later.
