ResMed Cpap DC wired and block in head got fused it's self - 2012

The head Blue Sea Systems blade fuse block got an ANL - 80 Amp Fuse installed.

It was simple because there was one there we stole for the solar controller. That started us off on setting up my  ResMed C-pap machine. I use it to breath with at night. It will run off the batteries with the DC converter we purchased a while back. It always runs on AC as we do not anchor much at this time because of project work so it has not been a priority.

See as we are starting the AC in the stateroom this falls into that work as the cabinet over the bed will get some work with the thermostat control for the AC.
First we cut the wire to length and connected the 10/2 to the DC converter with #10 butt connectors.

The 10/2 wire we ran from the blade fuse block to the cabinet over the bed a long time ago whole working under the bed.
The  ResMed C-pap machine works great on DC now😊
To run it on DC which will be the norm when we depart for the south we disconnect the AC plug and from the back of the C-Pap machine and insert the DC plug. Then we take the fuse from the blade fuse block spare fuse holder and insert it into the fuse for that particular set of wires. If I was running it every night I would just leave it like that. At this time I do not use it on DC so I just remove the fuse so no power is going up through the DC converter even though it is not plugged into the machine.
Debbie put some labels on the buss but they are not shown as they were added after this picture.

This is the cabinet behind the toilet.

We have some wires to run from a buss under the bead to the blade fuse block and then we will stake down all the wires at the ST Blade Fuse Block - 6 Circuits with Negative Bus.
