We wired the new hot water heater to the nav panel. We had previously run the new 120 volt 10/3 but never got it connected. This time we finished that off. We left the wires at the nav station a little long and not real secured because we are going to move the breaker switch on the nav panel. We need to make room for the new 30 amp breaker that we are installing there.

You can see a drip of water from the left elbow. Next fix is this little leak.
The black is head to see but this is the new wire that will connect to the nav station.
So the hot water heater now is running off the
new 120 volt 10/3 wiring!
It really runs most of the time from the solar panels. Only if we want real hot water later at night do we flip it on. We ran it all day though to test the wiring out for any mistakes but it was straight forward and works fine.
As you can see the Blue Sky Energy inc Solar Boost 3024iL DUO is cranking out (this shows what is being used) 23.9 amps for battery charging and dump load.
There may be more amps from the panels but the batteries are 100% charges so it is on stage tow or three and using only a few amps for charging now. The rest are going to the dump load (hot water heater).
It is February 18 and the water is too hot to leave your hand under!
