Up foot switch rope drum

Ok got the new up foot switch for the rope drum and added some chafe protection on the wires as I have done with the others. I simply added some heat shrink to the wires for chafe protection.


We will install it soon. There is a catch of course. The Bruce type anchor will sit on or close to the switch when it is stored in the anchor locker. We will possibly need to work something out for that.

The rope gypsy can be used to haul someone up the mast so if the Bruce was stored there it would need to be moved for that job.


However the rope gypsy will be used primarily for the Bruce anchor, so it will be out of the anchor locker and the foot switch will be free to use if that is the case.
