Alfa router - purchased

 Now that we purchased a new\refurbished Samsun Laptop computer (which we have already blogged about) this Alfa router should let us move about the boat with Wi-Fi. We have the Alfa network card already connected to an antenna on the dinghy davits. The Alfa network card then connected to our old laptop with a USB cable. Same set up only we will use the router to spread the wealth of Wi-Fi. We purchased this Alfa router from Amazon.com .

Purchased 3\4 inch valves and 5\8 to 3\4 bronze hose barbs for Beta to water heater - 2017

Purchased 3\4 inch valves and 5\8 to 3\4 bronze hose barbs for Beta 38 hp to water heater.

We also picked up the 4 SS hose clamps and some clamps to hold the valves to the engine room bulkhead. We only needed two 3\4 to 5\8 hose barbs as we have two at s\v Elegant'sea. We purchased these at Marine Exchange in San Diego.

 Yes, we needed a couple of inexpensive tools so we went to Harbor Freight in Chula Vista after the Chula Vista Marine Swap Meet.

MOREFINE Bluetooth FM Transmitter turns on\off while plugged into the 12v outlet when we turn the car on or off.

Our BLU smart phone automatically pairs up to the MOREFINE Bluetooth FM Transmitter with Bluetooth. Then if we get a phone call we just push the knob on the MOREFINE Bluetooth FM Transmitter and it is answered. We talk through the transmitter (speaking up since the transmitter is some distance away from the seats) and listen through the radio. How cool is that for an older car and inexpensive way of doing things!?

Also when we use maps on the BLU smart phone the map lady's voice comes through  the radio. If we are playing music from the phone to the radio then the music pauses while the map lady speaks.

   We can also use our Samsung tablet for the same thing.

  We also have a small mp3 player we have a lot of music on that we can plug into the            earphone jack on the MOREFINE Bluetooth FM Transmitter and plays our music over the    car stereo. So lots of options for the US and Mexico,
