Solar Calendar for the need of the Honda EU EU2000i generator - 2013

The months below are all Honda EU EU2000i assisted months.
Our Solar Calendar is something like this:
This means we may need to use the Honda EU EU2000i generator to get through the night will over 70 % of batteries. Now this depends on such things as the amount of movies we watch, the amount of sun we get ect. We generally can make it through the night if we do not watch a matinée and then an evening movie... but no matter we will not get solar hot water.

The sun rises later and sets earlier, resulting in less sunshine and it is not as strong.

November, December, January, February

At the end of February we start getting solar warmed  hot water. We get enough to take a comfortable shower for me in the boat's warm water heated by the solar panels. 

Debbie still likes the 5 gal solar shower that is generally 110 deg.  Starting in March the boat hot water heats up enough to satisfy Debbie also. That is if we do not run the water maker all day which draws about 8 amps. Once we start seeing 14.30 volts on the Xantrex Link 2000 then we know we are getting a dump load from the Blue Sky Energy inc Solar Boost 3024iL DUO that is going to the water heater.

 We are now getting hot water "too hot to touch" from our hot water heater and only heated by the solar panels.

So at the end of February we can winterize the Honda EU EU2000i for the year. We got about ten hours on it the season (November, December, January, February) so it should last forever :)
