Dinghy air pump hose extended, pump up dingy while on davits or in water - 2014

We extended the hose on the air pump to the Achilles LSI-310E dinghy. It was too short for pumping up the dinghy while it was on the Kato Marine Island Davits davits or even at the dock.
It was sometimes a bit short. It is a 3\4 hose and we got a hose barb from Home Depot and a piece of hose that was in the dumpster, or at the dumpster, you know how sailors do when they put something there that is for free because it is just too good to actually put in the trash. A couple of hose clamps we taped up for hand protection and we are extended!
