The finished product. Debbie finished off the last of four Bomar - Pompanettellc Hatch, 100 series covers. The white Sunbrella will help keep the boat cooler. They have bungee chord sewn in and a small line on each one that we tie to a hinge to keep them onboard in case of high winds that may dislodge them.

In April 2025, Debbie Willis completed the final set of hatch covers for their Islander Freeport 36ft sailboat, Elegant'sea. These four covers were custom-made for the Bomar-Pompanette 100 series hatches, each measuring 20×20 inches. Crafted from white Sunbrella fabric, the covers are designed to keep the boat cooler and feature sewn-in bungee cords and small lines to secure them to the hinges, preventing dislodgement during high winds.
