Los Gatos: Anchored on our way South - 2024

There are two other boats here, a big cat and a trimaran.
The temperature has been in the mid 80s all day and high 70s during the evening. Quite nice! A lot cooler than Aqua Verde. The Anchorage has been a bit rolly and we are all behind the reef on the south side.
June 2024 - Chip & Debbie anchored at Los Gatos, BCS (Baja), Mexico

We deployed our flopper stopper (Magma Rock and Roll Stablizer) on our Islander Freeport 36ft sailboat which has made it quite nice. High winds were predicted from the west last night, but none came. Same for tonight...not complaining!
We were heading to San Evaristo from Aqua Verde but the seas were lumpy and looked to be building (despite the forecast to the contrary) so we decided to stop in Los Gatos for a couple of days. Wednesday looks better weather wise. We would normally have kept going as it was not all that lumpy but we have never been down the San Jose channel before heading south. It can be fine or not fine so seeing as it was already lumpy the straight could be bad. It's nice here with a breeze and maybe we will go exploring tomorrow.
