We were ok with our old phone, but AT&t went 5g. They stopped our service and sent us a 5g phone for free, but it was not a dual sim phone, so we needed two phones. There were not any 5g phones available with dual sim cards for a decent price, so we waited.
We also like the Pixel 6A but it has an esim and Telcel in Mexico is only supporting high end phones with eSims unless you purchase the phone from them which would be a problem plus expensive. So possibly kin a year or so when the market shakes out like it did with 5g the eSim will be better supported.
