Another Merlin II test on the refer: failed - 2021

We did another Merlin II test because I thought possibly there may have been a loose connection or something else going on last time and I really wanted the Merlin II to work.

December 2021 - Currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)

This time we got the opposite results! The compressor ran fine keeping the freezer cold at 28 degrees F. That lasted for about 20 hours and then I noticed the temp was at 34.2 and rising. The compressor was not running. The thermostat had the snow flake solid indicating the compressor was running. The Merlin II had a slow blinking green light indicating the compressor was running. The system had worked fine for over a week with no Merlin II attached. So two tests and once it failed to shut off the compressor (previous post) and this time failing to turn it on.
This means the compressor will run at its slowest speed at all times. If anything goes into the refer and the temperature goes up the compressor will not run faster to cool it down. It will but it will take longer. Also there are some good troubleshooting lights on the Merlin II. And it ramps up the compressor slowly enabling it to start easier if we have been off the boat and the refer has not been used.
We have the RMA to send it in for testing. So next trip to the USA we will send the
Merlin II in for testing.
