New Garmin GMR 18 xHD radar dome purchased - 2021

Debbie and I just purchased a replacement radar for our old Garmin HD radar that stopped working. It started to give us errors a couple of seasons ago and quit altogether last season.

 We did all the trouble shooting and it is dead. So we decided on the Garmin 18 GMR xHD for the replacement. It is an upgrade from our HD which is close to the +HD but the +HD is still newer technology. Our choice is the ×HD which is an upgrade to us. The Garmin 18 Fantom is a fine radar and solid state but has a lot of extras we will not use or rarely use and it was quite a bit more $$. We got the ×HD on sale and they threw in three years of extended protection. We purchased this from Factory Oultelt web site.
