Lake Chapala Halloween party! - 2018

We are.....guess what?😁 

Went to a Halloween party thrown by our next house sit.

November 2018 - s\v Elegant'sea is currently in Paradise Village Marina in Banderas Bay Mexico (by Puerto Vallarta)
November 2018 - We are now currently in Riberas (Riberas del Pilar) which is a neighborhood in Lake Chapala, Mexico pet/house sitting. Our last one of the year.

We tied for first place for couples in the costume contest! Thank you, Debbie!😍

 Judy and Wayne throw an annual Halloween party/potluck and we were invited since we have a nine day house sit there with three turtles. (We are hoping the weather will break in Puerto Vallarta by that time.) The 10th of November we are leaving the Lake Chapala area (in the mountains) for the Marina....even if it is still hot and muggy, it will break by the 20th, we think/hope 😎

A good turnout!  

The party started at 4:00pm and it started to rain at 4:15pm!  

Everyone ran for cover yet it wasn't for long as the rain subsided around 4:40pm.  

Everyone enjoying all the goodies from the potluck - savory and sweet!

The rain started again just as the results of the costume contest were to be announced.  

It pretty much chased everyone under cover or to their cars.

The couple on the right in this photo is the other couple we tied with.  

They also won the Best Male Costume and Best Female Costume.

  Guess what we are going to be for the Halloween party? 
This is the design-phase...nothing like this to be store-bought here in Mexico!

 Hint: We have yellow shirts, suspenders, jeans, 

black gloves and the glasses will be silver.  

Some of the items we even found at local thrift stores.

More design-phase.  We found the hard hats at a local hardware store (then saw them again at one of the large grocery store for less money - how about that!)
