There goes another Perkins to the scrap heap - 2017

Denny on s/v Dream Catcher is repowering. He is removing his Perkins and is either going with a Beta or Yanmar diesel engine. Also, Denny on s/v Dolce Vita is repowering.  Both of these boats are in Marina Mazatlán.

Beginning of May 2017 - Tied up in Marina Mazatlán, Mexico

They used the main halyard to lift the engine up and out of the boat.

Down the dock it goes.

Also Denise on s\v Dolce Vita a Islander Freeport 36' like our own boat. He had his Perkins 4-108 recently removed and is having a Beta 38 hp installed.
