There has been this pesky water leak from our new hot water heater.
When we plumbed it we used liquid plumbers tape type of sealant. It works OK but I think I like plumbers tape better.
First we drained the water heater using the valve. Of course I spilled a lot of water before it got to the sink.
We had to remove the elbow and clean it all up and the hose barb and this time we used plumbers tape and put it back together. Looks like no more leaking.
We want to clean this area up so we can install the Mermaid Marine Air 12,000 BTU Ac unit.
We also screwed down the water heater flange.
