 The second day of fall! Homesick for sailing. We had a big thunder and lightning storm with lots of rain last night. Glad we were here for the cool temperatures of summer! Enjoying the good berries - raspberries, blueberries, blackberries etc!

 Debbie and I decided to try to sail out of San Diego Bay and go out at sea far enough so we could not see land. I do not think we knew how far and how much time it would take😀.

 The purpose I have for these is to go with the 1" black strapping we purchased.

Helm seat arms - decided to remove the putty and put in teak plugs - 2018

We received the helm seat arms from Cadillac Furniture here in Ajijic with the screw holes filled with wood putty as explained earlier. After wetting the arms to simulate them being varnished, we decided that the putty must go.

HVAC hose purchased for flushing both HVAC units - 2018

This hose will get cut to size when we are back on the boat and ready to do the flushing.

Our 5-piece cabinet set of doors got another coat of varnish - 2018

Another round of sanding and prepping and another coat of varnish. 

They are starting to show progress.

Beta 38 hp engine work all done: heat exchanger, exhaust hose, zinc threads etc - 2018

 Using our Stant 12270 30 Pound Cooling System And Pressure Cap Tester, Luis tested the stack tube/heat exchanger to be fine, no leaks.
