Not all the Freeports are the same. On our 1978 Freeport the galley setup to the right of under the sink looks like this. These hoses went to a PVC “T” behind the cabinet where we keep the pans.
I do not know of any differences between the 78 and 79 Freeports, but for the doors.
The doors have a rounded top on the 78 and a square top on the 79. As the square top looks like it has been re-enforced on the 79 I have never heard of any problems with the doors. My preference is for the rounded tops.
