We are currently cruising our Islander Freeport 36 sailboat in Mexico. We have been extensively documentating our Islander Freeport outfitting for this adventure. We will now be reporting what of our outfitng is of value, what works and what is not of value.
The current line which we took from our dinghy davits is, to us, a bit big and seems to bunch up at times.
The Davit line we installed we decided was too big for what we needed for our Achilles LSI-310E dinghy and Honda 9.9 motor. This line we also purchased at Downwind Marine in San Diego back when we were rigging the davits.
And yet more parts checked off the US buy list for
the next cruising season on s\v
