VHF coax cable run and most ends on.

We picked up 20’ of coax cable at Marine Exchange for the VHF radio. Then it was a matter of stringing it.

White coax cable waiting to be run.

Debbie put the connectors on the coax cable coming out of the mast.

With the joiner on the connector.

They are compression fit and require no solder. A tough spot to work in but Debbie got it done.
Then Debbie put a connector on the one end of the cable to be run which she did fine.

I then ran the cable from the nav station to the mast.

You just know this are is going to need a bigger hole drilled for running wires. The SSB is going here also.

Thats Debbie up there by the haler .

The marine speaker wire is for the haler at the radar mount on the mast. We can use the radio as a fog horn or to bother other people by hailing them. Like when they are going by in their ding we can say "hay how bout picking us up some ice cream!".

The coax cable needs one more end put on at the mast end of the new cable.
I lost my work mate to other pressing issues so no end is on yet.

But then our radio will not be here till Tuesday so no big deal.
